Silver Medal for JA SOLAR
A major milestone for JA SOLAR.
Congratulations are in order for JA SOLAR for achieving the Solar Stewardship Initiative Silver Certification – no mean feat according to Country Manager for the UK and Ireland, Alastair Mounsey.
“Years in the making, SSI delivers on its original goal: a clear, objective ESG benchmark supported by a strict (indeed it really is stringent) factory-level audit. A valuable tool for buyers to assess sustainability with confidence.” Said Alastair on recieving the accolade.
Two manufacturing bases have earned the award validating the company’s efforts to integrate sustainable practices and supply chain resilience.
The Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI)
The Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI) is an organisation founded by SolarPower Europe and Solar Energy UK. It aims to advance sustainability and traceability across the solar PV supply chain. It has become the industry benchmark and reflects the collective efforts of the industry to drive sustainability in the sector.
