Yes, you can find everything online 24/7 – there’s a wealth of information on the Segen customer portal from brochures, datasheets, product specifications, installation manuals, warranty documents, guides, design tools and configurators. Live stock levels, quotes and account information, invoices and design tools, the portal has it all!

Also, Segen customers are assigned dedicated team members to assist with everything they need. There’s a Sales Manager who has a huge amount of product and industry knowledge, and the Order Processor who handles the logistics of the deliveries and makes sure they go smoothly. There’s a Technical Support Engineer on hand to help with any before, during, and post installation enquiries, and for any finance enquiries there’s an expert on hand to keep accounts on track.

There are warranties available on all Segen products, and you can find out more and download warranty documents on the customer portal product pages.

Often free extended warranties are available if products are registered online with manufacturers but also, extended warranties are available to purchase from Segen or the manufacturer directly, offering peace of mind to installer and system owner.

Also, there’s a 30-day price lock on quotes and an Early Shipping Discount as a reward for having shipments confirmed in advance.

Yes, you can collect orders from our warehouse in Medway, Kent in the southeast of England. Whatever size it might be from a set of stickers to a container of modules.

Course information

This course is only available to existing Segen customers

To be registered for the Solar PV course, the candidate must provide the following no less than 7 working days before the course start date:

  • Photo proof of ID (Driver’s Licence or Passport)
  • Completed LCL Application & Registration Form

Candidates must bring the following with them from Day 1 of the course:

  • Basic stationery (pen, notepaper)
  • Calculator
  • Photo ID
  • *REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS, IET WIRING REGULATIONS, EIGHTEENTH EDITION, BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 (Brown Cover)
  • *IET On-Site Guide 18th Edition (Brown Cover)

Course Books* can be purchased as a package from www.Test-Meter.co.uk. For use in the exam, the invigilator will check that your course book is ‘clean’ – no notes or writing inside.

2382 BS7671 18th edition 2022 amendment 2

This course is for experienced electricians and those requiring a working knowledge of the British Standard BS7671:2018 (amendment 3:2024) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

18th Edition knowledge is a required for Registered Electrician status, necessary for an Installation or Maintenance Electrician Gold Card, and for installers undertaking domestic electrical work – gas engineers, kitchen fitters, plumbers and builders.

18th Edition alongside experience and a recognised qualification is also needed by Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) members, or those looking to join a CPS.

Training is not mandatory, but the best route to understanding.

The cost of the 18th Edition Course includes training, assessment, registration with City & Guilds and the examination costs.

This course is aimed at electrical operatives (designers, installers, consultants, and inspectors) who are existing Segen customers.

There are no pre-requisites required, however, an electrical background is essential (e.g. electrical engineering, design, testing etc)

The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course involves classroom based training , which focuses on the wiring regulations standard BS7671:2018 Amendment 3:2024.

There is no practical element.

Candidates will be required to complete a 60 question multiple choice online exam, which will cover both the existing regulations and the changes

On completion of your Segen course, you will need to place an order with a minimum value of £2000 + vat to qualify.
Upon shipment of your order, a credit will be applied to your account to the value of 20% of the value of the course completed. This credit can be redeemed against your next Segen order.
This mechanism will continue until 100% of the course value has been redeemed against Segen orders.
The rebate will expire 6 months after the date on which the course was completed.
