We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very own, Liz Cammack, has been crowned the winner of the Solar & Storage Live 2024 ‘Women in Energy’ award! Our heartfelt congratulations go out to Liz for winning such an inspirational award. As Liz was receiving this award, her husband Jon, members of the Segen team and their customers, along with manufacturers were there to congratulate her.

As a leader, Liz is dedicated to promoting women in the renewables industry, ensuring they have equal opportunities. Along with, dedicating so much of her time and passion to make sure the UK hits 70GW of solar power by 2035.

Not only was Liz invited to 10, Downing Street earlier in the year, to finalise the UK’s Solar Roadmap to hit the 70GW target, but she is now in her second term as Non-Exec Director to the Board of Solar Energy UK. Liz is also a member of the Government and Industry Solar Taskforce, in which she is Chair of the Supply Chain and subgroup.

As Segen’s UK VP of Sales and Global Advisor to the Board, Liz ensures Segen is at the forefront of solar technology. Her knowledge and strategic relationships with manufacturers and customers have allowed us to remain the UK’s largest distributor, support so many charities, and expand our business.
