The Lowdown
This is an all-in-one, AC-coupled storage system that offers a total usable capacity of 5.0kWh with 3.8kWh of continuous output power as well as 7.68 peak for 3 seconds – the charge and discharge rate is supported by the 6x IQ8D-BAT unique microinverters inside the battery.
This battery carries all the benefits of a standard Lithium-Ion battery pack but in combination with some unique Enphase benefits:
- 15 year limited warranty
- Field replaceable components
- Remote software and firmware upgrades
- Offers homeowners and installers remote monitoring and control from the Enphase APP
- Various mode support – self-consumption, TOU (time of use) and future backup compatibility (additional back up box will be required)
