We are all aware now of Climate Change and rising energy costs and neither looks likely to get better over time. The Government is encouraging us all to make a difference to climate change, and grants are available of up to £2,500 for the installation of your own small wind turbine.

Segen offers a range of tower mounted small wind turbines suitable for rural domestic properties. The installation process is relatively simple and we will try and ensure there is minimum disruption to you while we are working on site.

Unfortunately not all domestic properties are suitable for a tower mounted wind generator, and Segen does not offer a domestic roof mounted option for the reasons explained on our Roof Mounted FAQ page.

For your property to be suitable you would need to have at least 1/2 acre of land, and have a location to install the turbine that would be a minimum of 50m from your own property, and ideally 75m - 100m from your nearest neighbour. This is to avoid noise being a nuisance to you, or your neighbours.
