Small Wind Power for Community Centres

As a community centre you will of course be aware of your responsibilities to your local community and the world at large.

No doubt you will be playing an active role in educating your constituency in the need to make careful use of the world's resources and protect the environment.

A small wind turbine (or two) will not only assist you in that task, providing many opportunities to link your wind generator installation to other exhibits or facilities to reinforce the key messages.

Many companies have recognised the benefits of helping organisations like you take a leading role in the implementation of small wind projects and you may find that a substantial proportion of the costs can be funded from sources like Low Carbon Building Program, Scottish Power, e.on and many others.

Segen has extensive experience of helping community centres obtain funding for their wind turbines and we'll be pleased to assist you with obtaining your funding.

You may however like to contact directly some of the following organisations below who look favourably on community applications for funding installations of small wind generators.
