Please read the PV Siting and Solar PV FAQ pages and then try our free system configuration tool to estimate how much energy you could get from a Solar PV system and provide a budgetary price of the various systems we offer, or if you would like someone from Segen to contact you to discuss your requirements.

Segen only supplies systems using market leading products, including solar panels from Sharp, Schuco, Mitsuibishi and Romag.

The NU Sharp series of photovoltaic modules is designed for applications with a high power requirement. These monocrystalline quality modules produce a sustained, reliable yield even under demanding deployment conditions.

All Sharp NU series modules offer optimal system integration – both technically and economically – and are suitable for installation in grid-coupled systems.

  • High performance PV modules made of monocrystalline (155.55 mm²) silicon solar cells with module efficiency of up to 14.1%.
  • Bypass diodes to minimise power loss with shading.
  • Use of annealed glass, EVA plastic, weather-protection foil and anodised aluminium frame with water drainage holes for prolonged use.

Segen is now supplying systems using the new ultra high efficiency 185W monocrystalline model or larger 210/210W polycrystalline variants.

Mitsubishi Electric photovoltaic modules are designed for both commercial and domestic applications suitable for grid-connected systems, and offer both high performance and reliability. These polycrystalline PV modules are manufactured to the strictest engineering guidelines to meet the strict requirements of international quality standards (UL 1703, IEC 61215, TÜV Safety Class II).

Mitsubishi Electric’s many years of experience and know-how are behind the introduction of design and structural improvements that lead to PV modules with long-term reliability.

Segen supplies systems using the well proven 185W polycrystalline model which has longer and narrow dimensions to most other panels on the UK market providing additional flexibility in maximising the use of the available roof space.

Romag are a UK manufacturer of standard and bespoke solar power modules and Segen can offer their entire range of standard modules ranging from 175W up to 220W in three different packages, giving a great deal of flexibility in system design, both physically and electrically.

Currently Segen is stocking 3 main panels being;

  1. 175W polycrystallne - 1312mm X 994mm
  2. 200W polycrystallne - 1482mm X 994mm
  3. 220W polycrystallne - 1640mm X 994mm

All Segen supplied Romag modules are fully MCS certified and come with a 25 year performance warranty.
