| 21st March 2007 | Gordon Brown announces an extra £6m for the LCBP domestic stream grants scheme in the budget, but the DTI announces a temporary suspension of the scheme while they restructure it.

| 14th February 2007 | Segen is Recruiting. Segen needs a Renewable Energy Engineer to design and install small-scale hydropower and wind energy systems. The job would be based in Stroud, Gloucestershire and would involve a lot of time spent at customer sites doing site surveys and doing practical installation work, mainly in the South West and Midlands but could be nationwide. | 31st January 2007 | Segen is pleased to announce that it has completed its Acquisition of Hydro Generation Ltd which not only expands Segen’s range of products and services, but brings with it significant technical resources in offices in Devon and Stroud. Significant expansion is now being planned to both promote micro hydro projects across the UK and grow the technical team to support both micro hydro and small wind installations.
