Segen's Key Personnel
- Paul Lever - Chairman. Following a short period in the regular army, Paul has spent the rest of his career working either in manufacturing or the business service sector and, more recently, at the heart of Government. His full time career included eight years as a Marketing Director and twenty-one as a Chief Executive. He has held a number of non-executive positions with public companies or institutionally backed private ventures, and has taken part and led four floatations.
Paul has been Chief Executive of Crown Paints then a subsidiary of Reed International PLC; Crown Berger Europe then a subsidiary of Williams Holdings PLC; Lionheart PLC; TI Steel Stockholding and Small Appliances, then subsidiaries of Tube Investments PLC, and Chairman of the British School of Motoring PLC and Oxford Aviation limited.
Currently he is Chairman of a number of institutionally backed private companies and is Chairman of llex PIC and Datong Electronics Plc. He is Professor of Business Policy at the International Management Centres and has lectured in the UK, the USA, South Africa Malaysia, on business policy and strategic planning. - Andy Pegg - CEO. An experienced and successful entrepreneur who has previously formed and grown a software systems and services company producing annual turnover in excess of £5m.
Andy is also an investor and non Executive Director of a number of other UK based renewable energy companies. - Rob Such - Operations Director. Rob has over 20 years experience in the IT sector designing and building complex IT solutions to solve a variety of business problems in the government, finance, utilities, retail and telecommunications arenas. Rob has worked in South Asia and across Europe for companies such as IBM and Siemens. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University College Cardiff, Wales where he studied electrical engineering and mathematics.
- Phil Davis - Technical Director. Phil spent many years in the oil and gas industry before undertaking a PhD at Loughborough University in renewable energy and then forming Hydro Generation to develop micro-hydro projects across the UK. Since the merger with Segen, Phil has taken up the role of Segen's Technical Director covering all of Segen's technologies.
- Lee Baxter – South East Area Sales Manager. Lee has a formal Electro/Mechanical engineering background built over 16 years with over five years experience of commercial and site installed sales of engineering products. Lee is based in Hampshire and covers both the South East and London regions.
- Mike Reynolds - Area Sales Manager, South West. Mike has worked in the IT industry for 26 years with an emphasis on the specification, procurement, installation and support of IT infrastructure to small and medium enterprise, corporate and government organisations. He jointly established two separate companies operating nationally, taking them from a standing start to successful and highly respected IT service providers, both of which subsequently became the subject of acquisitions by prominent players in the IT sector. Apart from his expertise developed in the day to day running of a company, his skills are deeply rooted in customer support and project implementation working at the forefront of new technology.
- Jim Robertson - Northern Area Sales Manager. Jim Owned and managed a computer services company with an annual turnover of £3M for 17years before selling it. Used the ISO9000 accreditation process to ensure his vision of excellence in customer service and won a number of local awards for the company performance in this area.
- Tony Fowell - Sales Manager, Midlands & North East. Tony has a strong Engineering and Electronics background as well as an excellent track record in sales. He has successfully run his own business and brings a wealth of project, sales and technical experience to the renewable energy market.
- Michele Robertson - Northern Area Sales Manager. Michele has spent the last 25 years in the sales of IT Service Provision. The majority of this time included the running of her successful IT business. She hold a BSc Hons Degree in Geography and gives great emphasis to customer satisfaction.
